2025 Lions Scholarship Awarded to Aliyah Ellison and Maya Cremeens

Lion Fred Seibold presents a $2000 scholarship to each of the two 2025 winners, l-r Aliyah Ellison and Maya Cremeens.

Ms. Ellison plans to study nursing at Olivet College, Boubonnaise; Ms. Cremeens plans to study radiology at SIU Carbondale. We received 20 applications this year. Each applicant had to complete a personal history form, write a letter about why they need the scholarship and what they will do with it, add two letters of recommendation, and a transcript. These documents are reviewed carefully by the scholarship committee; the award was presented at the MHS Senior Honors Night May 8, 2025.
